Step 1: How does your property comply?
Come and meet the Multidwell team while inspecting our Northern Beaches display granny flat after confirming a time that suits you.
The state government legislation for complying developments is very black and white. To find out if your property qualifies for a complying secondary dwelling the Multidwell team will conduct an obligation free site inspection once required documents have been sourced.
During the site inspection we will determine how your property qualifies and specific design features will be finalized after considering aspect, outlook and positioning in conjunction with you. Multidwell will then provide a full cost estimate to complete your personalized granny flat.
Step 2: Decision to go ahead – Complete Building Contract
Once you have decided to proceed and the fixed price contract is finalized, required site works will be scheduled as we work towards obtaining a Construction Certificate. At this time your final decision will be on colour schemes.
Once site works are completed and the Construction Certificate issued we will set a suitable date with you for the construction of your secondary dwelling.
Step 3: On-site Construction
All materials are ordered well in advance of on-site construction so once we set a start date with you allow just ten weeks for us to complete your complying secondary dwelling. Once completed allow another week for the issuing of the Occupation Certificate.
You will then be handed the keys to your very own, top-quality Multidwell granny flat and you are now ready to occupy, lease or move the in-laws in.
