Multidwell aims to make the entire process as simple as possible and will assist you from start to finish.
Step 1: How does your property comply?
Come and meet the Multidwell team while inspecting our Display Home at Flower Power, 20-22 MacPherson St, Warriewood which is open 7 days a week from 10am - 3pm.
The state government legislation for complying developments is very black and white. To find out if your property qualifies for a complying secondary dwelling the Multidwell team will conduct an obligation-free site inspection. During the site inspection we will determine how your property qualifies and specific design features will be finalised after considering aspect, outlook and positioning in conjunction with you. Multidwell will then provide a full cost estimate to complete your personalised granny flat.
Step 2: Decision to go ahead – Complete Building Contract
Once you have decided to proceed and the contract is signed, required site planning works (such as surveyor, full design drawings, engineer's drawings, BASIX etc.) will be scheduled as we work towards obtaining a Construction Certificate. At this time your only tough decision will be on colour schemes, and to make this easier we have four designer options to help you.
Once planning is completed and the Construction Certificate issued we will agree a convenient start date for the construction of your brand new secondary dwelling.
Step 3: On-site Construction
All materials are ordered well in advance of on-site construction so, once we set a start date with you, allow approx.16 weeks for us to complete your compliant secondary dwelling. You will then be handed the keys to your very own, top-quality Multidwell granny flat.
